Overall Looks • Orchidkit is a small and round cat, with a cute, soft stomach and downy medium-length fur. Her body is covered by patches of warm cream and grey, and it looks like the sunbleached pebbles on the banks of a small burn. Her stomach, chest, cheeks, and front legs are white, aside from her right hand one, which are grey and cream. Her tail is short, roughly about the length of her back foot, and is tipped with grey. Her face is a soft diamond and her muzzle is petite and round. Her nose is a peachy pink, and her nose bridge is gently sloped. There are large ear-tufts on the tips of her large, pointed ears. Her ear-furnishings are slightly curled. Her eyes are large and lemon-shaped. They are a beautiful orange-yellow hue.

Overall Personality • Orchidkit is a quiet and shy kitten, and can often be found clinging close to the side of her father. She finds it hard to open up to strangers, especially stranger adult cats. A kitten who is easily scared, Orchidkit prefers to take the safer route in any problem, even if that route is tedious and long. She finds it hard to make friends with other cats her age, and often gets pushed to the side when playing games due to her passive personality. This doesn't really concern her, because she doesn't really like the boisterious games the other kittens play anyway. Orchidkit would much rather sit with the nurses and elders and listen to them than roll around with the other kits in the nursery. Even for a kit of 3 moons, she is mature for her age. This can lead her to be ignorant of the kittens around her, and the oftentimes-patronising way she treats them makes her not very popular with kits her own age.
She prefers to live through stories. Orchidkit has a great attention span, and is never happier than when she is listening to an old myth. She remembers these clearly and stores them away in her head. Inside, she wishes that she was as strong and as fearless as the warriors in those tales she hears. They are the antithesis of what she is as a cat, and there is nothing more that she wishes for than to overcome her fear and anxiety of the world around her and make her own place inside Firthclan for all.
Perhaps also due to these tales, Orchidkit is a deeply superstitious kitten. She holds stories of the fae to a high standard, and often fantasises over what she'd do if he happened to meet one. She has a healthy dose of fearful respect for them, and often leaves offerings of flower heads by the river for Ciuthach. She wishes to dedicate herself to her clan and the fae, but is frightened of the prospect that her passive and gentle nature make her useless to clan life. She is frightened to be a warrior.

Orchidkit was born to Hawthornflower, the head nurse of Firthclan. She was born a happy, healthy kit, and her early childhood was spent happily with her father and siblings. Orchidkit never knew of her other father, he having broken up with Hawthornflower before Orchidkit was even born. Instead, her parental figures also consisted of the other nurses in the nursery, who always liked to coo over her due to her beautiful markings and sweet demenour. Orchidkit has been babied a little too long, and rarely strays out of the nursery, even when all the other kits have been enjoying scampering about for a few weeks now. She has recently been finding it hard connecting her brothers due to her own bad habit of pushing others away. Her future hangs heavy above her, and she is ever-aware of the day she will leave the safety of the nursery forever and have to make her own way in Firthclan...
