High Position Try-outs: Firthclan
Firthclan currently has several High Positions available: Leader Oracle Council Elder Council Senior Warrior All of these positions are vital to the clan in order for it to function, this they are needed to be able to start roleplaying. But they are also positions of responsibility and commitment. That is why in order to play them, a try out is required. Once a tryout is posted for specific rank, there will be a one week period in which others may post tryouts for that character. At the end of the week, the try out for that position will be closed and the position chosen. You may apply for as many positions as you like, but you are only allowed two high positions, One leadership position (leader, deputy, second, etc), and one healer or support position (counselor, healer, oracle, etc). The try out consists of a complete profile, and then answering these questions in character: How do you feel about Faerie? How do you feel about the other clans? What is one thing in your clan you would change? (And then pick one [1] of the following scenarios and answer how the character would deal with them) - An outsider is at the border, asking to join the clan. They have a black pelt, but seem simple and jolly enough. What do you do?
- An apprentice is missing, and their mentor can't find them. They are known to go out by themselves to hunt without permission, how do you go about finding them?
- One of your clan members is behaving oddly, found to be keeping secrets from your clanmates. How do you address this problem? How do you go about investigating the original cause?
- One of the nurses brings to your attention that one of the warriors is acting more aggressive than they feel is safe. While it is unlikely that they will truly hurt anyone, the nurses want assurance the situation is being dealt with. What is your solution?

YEWSTAR OF FIRTHCLANHow do you feel about Faerie?
"The fae are our closest allies and protectors. They are this land's natural guardians and thus a good ally to have. As long as we as cats respect and honour them, we have no reason to fear. As most are more powerful than a cat ever will be, they have no reason to hunt or hurt cats. So when a cat finds itself tormented by one of these creatures, they should probably think about what they as an individual has done and make their wrong right. If we as a clan keep our real names hidden and stay respectful, then we have nothing to fear. In fact, I am apt to say that the fae are better allies to Firthclan than the other clans of this land. How do you feel about the other clans? "I don't care about them. As long as they're not harming us then I have no reason to think about them."What is one thing in your clan you would change?"I believe that we as a clan need to stand on our own two paws. Whilst in the past, we have shared friendships with the other two clans, it is clear now that the best interests of Moorclan, Pineclan and Firthclan have separated. Our close bonds in the past have sometimes brought us a massive amount of pain. We have better allies to rely on. I wish to create an independent and strong Firthclan, with a heavier focus on spirituality and childrearing. One of your clan members is behaving oddly, found to be keeping secrets from your clanmates. How do you address this problem? How do you go about investigating the original cause?"Honesty is very important to clan life, and hearing that a cat has been deliberately keeping secrets would be concerning. I think that it would be most important to address the warrior along first, and figure out the root cause of the issue. What is this secret? Is it purely personal or does it have wider repercussions for the rest of the clan? Has this warrior broken the code? This information will all help me decide the appropriate course of action to take. Then, if needed, I will announce in front of the clan this cat's wrongdoing (if they have done any wrongdoing at all). For most minor misdemeanors, this is punishment enough. Of course, if this warrior decided not to tell me what this secret even was, my concerns would be much greater. But usually cats will tell me what's on their mind if I leave it long enough. I don't think anyone in my clan is a deliberately malicious figure. At least, I hope not."
