Hedgehogface “Forget my name, and I’ll forget it too.” basics
nickname • Hedge looks

dreams • find his forever mate • discover natural phenomenons fears • thunder • death overall personality • This skillful yet laid back warrior, takes great care in his outward appearance; both physically and socially, which makes him rather vain. Despite his slight arrogance he does care for those close to him. Even though he may worry about others he’s also not one to do very much about it, for reasons he’s still not sure of. His overly carefree nature can make him negligent at times, but he is often able to fix any mistakes before they happen or get any worse. He likes to explore the world around himself and mingle with all different types of cats, but he does know when he needs to be more serious and he can be responsible when push comes to shove. Hedgehogface can be very broad-minded and is naturally accepting of a wide range of viewpoints, but there are a few concepts that he simply can’t wrap his head around (such as naturally introverted cats). Due to his love for attention it can be difficult to tell if his actions as a warrior are honourable or not, but either way he can truly provide well for the clan and it’s clear that he would never intentionally cause harm to any of his clanmates. Insects annoy him and water unnerves him, but more than anything he can’t stand petty cats; he has a very low opinion of them and has no patience for them. Thorns, thistles and other such things will cause him a great deal of grief, likely due to a slightly traumatic event that no one knows about. Thunder rattles him to his very core but he plays it off as best as he can… He hates the idea of looking bad in front of others and will avoid any situation that could cause this, which is why he isn’t the type to willingly open up about his own troubles or fears. This spirited warrior can be observant and flexible, but his greatest asset is his keen sense on how to deal with challenging or tense situations. Thanks to his upbringing, certain events and his mentors teachings, Hedgehogface has long since understood that the world is immensely vast and far bigger than he is, and this may be why he is so keen on discovering more about it, but he has also learned of the joy and content from appreciating the smaller things in life… yet this mindset has also brought him some troubling thoughts as well and he often finds himself questioning almost everything he has ever known. history
Mentor • Bleakheart, 56 moons, warrior. A white silver-blue broken mackeral tabby with light yellow eyes. (UFA)
Kittenhood - When Hedgehogkit was born with his brother and sister, the clan rejoiced. The kitting had went very smoothly, the three kits were strong and their mother was healthy and well. From that day on the entire clan worked together to guard and look after the litter of kits, this may be why Hedgehogkit never had a care in the world. All was well and life was good. The little tom flourished in the attention and it gave him the confidence to try many things and grow into a very spirited feline, but it also fed his ego and planted a seed of arrogance. Hedgehogkit would often pester Lizardkit into trying more things; he hated seeing his brother secluded or isolated... it just never looked like a good thing in his eyes. Sometimes he would even bully his siblings, but he had always been put in his place and lectured by their father; these moments were when he eventually learned all about discretion and proper conduct, for he didn’t always mean any ill-will, he just didn’t know how else to act. The first six moons of Hedgehogkit’s life had been incredibly fulfilling: he had loving and caring parents who also knew when to be strict, he had siblings who he could play and grow with, he had a watchful and protective clan. He played games and went on little adventures, he listened to stories from elders and learned from apprentices. Apprenticeship - Hedgehogpaw had went through a storm of emotions the day he got his apprentice name and his mentor, Bleakheart. He was uncharacteristicly solemn during his ceremony, and was worried for his siblings and their future though he did his best to hide it, but at the same time he was also ecstatic and eager for what was to come. He was curious and mystified by his mentor, but he was also a little unsure of her as well, since she had come to them as an outsider claiming to have roots within the clan. She had only recently been fully accepted into their ranks and given a Warrior name, in fact Hedgehogpaw could still remember seeing this adult cat among the apprentices when he was a kit. Bleakheart may be a soft spoken she-cat but this didn’t mean she herself was soft. She trained him hard and relentlessly, with little sympathy or remorse, so much so that he would collapse in his nest bone tired and too exhausted to even dream. The first few moons of his training were brutal and still one of the most intense experiences of his life. His mentor refused to see her apprentice grow into anything less then a strong capable warrior, but more then that she wanted to train a survivor. Even when he was confined to a nest, after an incident with thistles (which he never speaks of), his mentor would lecture him and drill him with mental exercises. It was then, two moons into his training, he experienced something incredible: an earthquake shook the land beneath his paws and the whole sky had changed its colour. It was a bazar and unforgettable moment that gave him a new outlook of the world around him. What more could happen? What more could he experience? Fully healed and filled with wonder, he dove back into his training with more enthusiasm then ever. He wanted to learn more, explore, grow and see whatever there was to see, and his mentor complied. They were a good match, despite never growing overly close to one another. As the moons went by, he grew strong enough to keep up with his training, he became extremely light on his paws, honed his skills with his claws and accuracy, and developed a sharp and practical mind. His abilities weren’t the only thing he grew confident of, though. As he matured so did his appearance and he was becoming quite the handsome young tom, and this was what curved his mild arrogance into vanity. As the end of his apprenticeship neared, Hedgehogpaw became grateful of his mentor, after all she taught him everything he knew, she developed him into the cat he had become. He didn’t just acquire his physical capabilities, but a broad-mind as well, yet what stood out more was what a striking cat he had become. Warrior Moons - Hedgehogface’s time as a warrior has not been as eventful as it probably could’ve been. As a new warrior he carried on with his duties while adjusting to his new role within his clan and he enjoyed nearly every moment of it. He feels as though he has accomplished a great milestone and he is compelled to bask in this moment of his life, so for a long time he had no real ambition to do much of anything in particular. At some point his eyes started to follow couples and he realized that he wouldn’t mind having a mate, but he wasn’t about to pick just any cat. Hedgehogface decided to casually search for the perfect companion to share his life with, almost the same way that he has taken to exploring the territory and the land beyond their boarders. genes
